JD & The Shout

JD & The Shout is a Bay Area trio formed out of a shared love for community, craft beer, and classic rock & roll. Their music spans several decades, covering familiar rock, pop, and country tunes that are easy to enjoy and well-suited for casual, local events. With strong harmonies and a relaxed style, they bring a warm, approachable sound to every performance.

The band came together after years of playing music in other settings, including worship teams and tribute bands. Now retired, the members have found time to focus on something they’ve long talked about—forming a cover band that celebrates the music they grew up with. Their chemistry is rooted in friendship and shared experience, which comes through in their easygoing stage presence.

JD & The Shout also believe in giving back. At every show, they donate all tips to local charities supporting those in need. It’s part of their mission to use music not just for entertainment, but as a way to connect with others and support the community.
